Millions of people across the country will cast their vote tomorrow. For some, election day is about making their voices heard. Others will choose not to vote because long ago they stopped believing their vote would make a difference.
Voting is an act of love and kindness for ourselves, our families, our neighbors, and our communities. Communities function better and are stronger when they prioritize acts of kindness and focus on "we" instead of "me".
Voting lets us stand up and vote for the issues we care about. Elections create opportunities for growth, humility, and finding a middle ground with people who have different views than ours.
Tomorrow, please cast your vote. In the days and weeks following the election, please show respect and avoid dehumanizing people who disagree with you or hold conflicting views. Let's work together to create kind communities.
